Fuel Tracker Gas & Mileage Log App revisa

Now it said 1 mpg updated??? Also partial fill is confusing if you have half talk and fill up is that a full fill or partial? So I deleted tried to reinstall now they want monthly payment not good app

Honestly love this app. It’s one of the few that I found that will allow for the tracking of my odo in km and fill ups in gallons as I live in the US and own an imported vehicle. The best part is that it’s SIMPLE and doesn’t have too many features like the other apps which makes me frustrated. I am only giving 3 stars because a lot of things feel unpolished and need some tuning up. I’m slowly adding entries from my manual log I’ve been keeping for the last 2ish years but am hesitant to continue after reading other user complaints of lost data.

I just updated to the latest version and upgraded to Pro. When I select “Detailed Statistics“ the app crashes. Also, when I export data to CSV it outputs the data in Metric despite having Imperial Units selected in the settings. Otherwise the app works well. It would be nice to have a backup to the cloud option.

1 star for being completely unusable. When I type the figures in the text is white, can’t see it so can’t use it.

Giving a 3 star for now, did not get a chance to put in a second fill up entry before the app would not open. Uninstalled it, and just reinstalled it, so now I gotta redo the settings. If it messes up again,it will be uninstalled yet again after I collect video recording proof and would like to contact the creators for a solution before I ever download it again.

New version force closes as soon as I try to open it every time. iPhone 11

Paid for it & started to use it. When buying fuel I’m (obviously) on my way somewhere and I scribble down or photograph the transaction details for later entry. Sitting on a motorcycle on a trip is not a convenient time/place for writing down purchase details. When I go to enter them later, the app doesn’t provide for entry of date & time of purchase. Poor design!

Had been using this app for a year and then all of a sudden the app decided to completely reset itself and ALL of the data I had been putting in for my car was absolutely gone. No recover options, nothing. Beyond frustrated. Time to find a new tracking app

I have been using FuelTracker and it’s been working just fine. But now I cannot logon. I cannot sinc my data, have I lost all of my data? I don’t want to convert your car I Q, but I tried anyway. I reset my password three times. Does that work It tells me that I need to convert to car Iq but it will not let me.

This might be awesome, I don’t know. It doesn’t have any motorcycle categories so I don’t have use for it. I don’t want to confuse the stats of other vehicles by pretending that my Husqvarna is a Cadillac.

After the last update, it keeps asking to update to a newer version of CarIQ for whatever reason. I may just get rid of this App all together, I would not recommend this kind of business.

Can’t add fill up location without allowing GPS access. Why does a fuel app need location access.

This program is frustrating when they updated it from the old program it it had bugs in it. It rounds out the numbers and so your data is not accurate. when I got an update on my phone it lost all of my data and it’s not in the back up that I had. I also have written him twice and received no help no response nothing do not buy this program.

Worked well when capturing fills. However, just as a number of reviewers stated, I also lost all my data when I upgraded my phone. Unfortunately I only realized that after my old phone was setup for my daughter and I couldn't go back to manually back it up. I am really unhappy about this. I have no use for a product that you have to run manual backups on the side. I have uninstalled.

I went through several apps before settling on Fuel Tracker. It worked well and has a nice, clean interface. But as of Jan. 25, 2019 it stopped working, replaced by Car IQ, which wants to charge a monthly fee. Boo!

Wow such garbage, doesn’t sign in to my account doesn’t save any of my information and doesn’t even give me a estimated MPG what is this app even good for other than taking up useful space on people’s phones please get this garbage off the app market

This app demands $5.99 before you can backup your mileage records. No iCloud sync, no Airdrop and no WiFi transfer. The only option is emailing a CVS file to yourself at a cost of $5.99....are you kidding me?

App consumes data even on WiFi. I couldn’t figure why I had 200-300 mb of data consumption on WiFi for the past week until I remembered I installed this app. I don’t even have sync enabled! Uninstall and going back to an Excel sheet.

The App kept requesting that I update and quit searching for the gas station location, so I updated in hopes that location search function would start working again. Instead over 30k miles of data tracking from the time I first purchased my vehicle disappeared! I’m NOT a happy camper.

The app is very helpful to me but any fuel refill entries made on 31st of the month are not recorded and do not reflect in monthly stats. Please fix this bug

I really liked this app until I got a new iPhone. Using iTunes I restored the new iPhone with the backup from the old phone. In addition to FuelTracker, I had a number of third party apps. All of them transferred to the new phone including their data except for FuelTracker. When I opened all the other apps it was just like using the old phone. When I opened FuelTracker it was as if I had just bought the app, the screen prompted me to list an auto. I contacted FuelTracker but received no help. Other reviews indicate that this is a problem when setting up a new phone. The app simply does not retain the data. I’m surprise that Apple allows selling this app without a disclaimer warning you about this problem. What a piece of junk!

I love the function of this app but hate that every time I upgrade my phone all my data is lost; even with the pro version

Easy to read all parameters

I got a new phone and discovered that the only options for transferring the data was to either manually re-enter all the data or use the export CSV option. I reluctantly paid the $5.99 (really? ...for a glorified excel spreadsheet?) and then spent about 30 minutes repeatedly importing the file into the app because it kept marking all the refills as “partial” so it wasn’t calculating the average mpg (the whole reason I had the app). So, I’m out $6, about an hour total since trying to sort this out, and 1.5 years of careful data collection so I can track my car’s fuel efficiency... and I’m back at square 1.

I have had this App for a while now and I love it. It gives me my information about each month and more about my gas and miles on my car without me adding things for my self! I still keep a paper documentation of this stuff still but this App is well worth it!

Can’t change auto with out up grade can”t export my info. Again without upgrade.

Easy & all data fields must be entered. Problem with missing a fill-up, no way to enter a prior information. Keeps defaulting to must be greater Milagros then your latest data entry. Please fix this. Alden How to adjust the fill up date after several entries. Yes I like the app. Alden

Good basic info strictly for mpg.

App just STOPPED working lost all my info on 3 vehicles. My advise is done even download it a waste of time.

Looked at five apps before I found this one easy to use cloud back up, great for my purpose!

Keep paper records too if you use this app, that’s if your records are important to you. I just lost all my info for the last 3 months on 2 vehicles. I am glad I kept a log book too. I some how entered a odometer reading the app didn’t like and I couldn’t get it to ever open again. It would opened in a minimized mode but I could never bring it into focus on the screen. Killed it and rebooted the phone multiple times. I had to delete the app and reload it. You can guess what happened to all my entries. Very disappointing

When you put in the ACTUAL mileage that you drove it says it has to be higher. It's ridiculous it doesn't calculate anything

The app works as indicated. It works fine. However uninstalling it from my iPhone 7 iOS latest update seems impossible bc I can't find the icon!? It's still prompting for updates though. Not really a fun idea when you don't have control over what is on your own phone. Please fix.

Love what it does and displays a lot of stats. The down side is it does not save anyplace and I lost all my data when my phone crashed

I looked at several apps before I chose this one. It does the job, all I wanted was basic information, this does that and more good job.

I am extremely satisfied with this MPG tracker application. It's very simple, clear, and straightforward. You also get average gasoline prices, miles traveled, and purchase location over time. Serves my purposes perfectly.

Awesome! Does what a pad and paper does TIMES ONE HUNDRED💯!! It even saves the data when you get a new phone if you've been backing up to iCloud!

I like this app. It is a good tool for preventative maintenance on a average

I love this app. Now I can easily keep track of the gas price treads and my fuel economy. I just wish there was an easy way to hold the manufacturers accountable for their false advertising on their MPG labels through crowd sourcing.

I would rate this app a five if it wasn't for the fact that the cvs backups lack the same usability as the statistics the app explores. I would like to see the backups mirror the graphs and charts created within the app. If this happens, it would be a five star app. It would be great for companies that manage fleets of vehicles and need hard copy printout of their investment's RoRs.

I liked the app. It was a good tool for mileage and averaging. I also liked that calculated cost when unit price was entered. Over all liked and kinda fun.
